French National Assembly : Resolution to re-establish European Mare Nostrum (Search and Rescue) Operation in the Mediterranean

📝 Dr. Shatz provided an expert opinion before representatives of the French National Assembly’s Commission of European Affairs, including MP Elsa Faucillon, in connection with a draft resolution aimed at (re)establishing a European “Mare Nostrum” in the Mediterranean.

On 27 November 2024, the European resolution aiming at the creation of a European sea rescue fleet was adopted in committee (see more info here).
